Bender Group has 48 years of experience in industrial marketing and sales, with an extensive knowledge of machinery, materials and manufacturing techniques. He has worked for Borg-Warner & Sumitomo Heavy Industries, and sold industrial products to General Motors, Ford, Bethlehem Steel, U.S. Steel, Lever Brothers, National Grid, Amtrak, New York City Department of Environmental Protection, and Long Island Railroad. He is known for creative problem solving at all corporate levels, including executive, engineering, maintenance, and purchasing. Has advanced degrees from Drexel University, Hofstra University, and Morse Institute of Technology. Mr. LaRocco, a respected Senior Manager, has over 34 years of experience in facility and railroad operations. He has managed high profile construction projects such as East Side Access (Tunneling under Manhattan) and Hudson Yards. These projects represent some of the largest projects in the history of the world. Mr. LaRocco was the facility maintenance and operations manager at Penn Station in New York City, where over a million commuters pass through each day!! One must have the ability to solve complex problems in such a high-pressure and fast-paced environment. He is the consummate problem solver in the facility manager profession. Joseph has been affiliated with the AFE (Association for Facility Engineering) since 1992. Has served as the AFE National President, Chapter 4 & Chapter 80 President and Regional VP. Currently he sits on the board of Directors. Holds a CPMM -Certified Professional Maintenance Manager, a credential from AFE.
